EasyJet has launched its first flights from Edinburgh Airport to the heart of the Austrian Alps, Innsbruck.

The inaugural flight from Edinburgh to Innsbruck took off on December 8 and will now operate every Sunday, offering capital residents a convenient connection to the vibrant Alpine city .

While Innsbruck is known for its proximity to world-famous ski resorts, the city itself is a destination rich in culture and history.
