Students in Montgomery will soon have better access to more books.

The Equal Justice Initiative and Montgomery Public Schools announced a partnership Monday to help strengthen reading skills and to expand access to high quality books.

The announcement was made at Highland Gardens Elementary School.

EJI Founder Bryan Stevenson said they have identified 133 books written by esteemed authors that are tailored specifically for first and second graders.
