Valet parking has come to an end at Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort.

Visitors to the Niagara Falls casino no longer have someone parking their vehicle for them as work continues on expanding the venue’s VIP self-parking lot.

A message posted on the casino’s website said “our guests continue to tell us that they value convenience and flexibility,” and that valet parking will be replaced with “a new premium self-parking experience.”

When contacted, Niagara Casinos president Richard Taylor said casino parking is “evolving” because patrons “value convenience, speed and flexibility.”

The new VIP self-parking area will be in a “previously underutilized” area, he added.

The VIP desk in the casino’s lower level now sits empty and there are no vehicles in the former valet parking spots.
