SAN FRANCISCO—According to evidence and testimony provided during the trial by jury in during a violent home invasion case, Montana Jones, 22, drove from East Oakland on Valentine’s Day in 2024 at 3 a.m. to a residential neighborhood in the Crocker Amazon area. There, four armed men, loaded with firearms and wearing ski masks and gloves and dressed totally in black invaded a home.

They barged their way into the property claiming they were the police, beating up the residents of the home with their firearms and were violent when they asked where they kept the valuables. The robbers kept the residents away in the bathroom, so they could look for valuables like jewelry, cash and their car, a BMW SVU. They did not allow the residents to speak their native language, which is Cantonese.
