WESTON, Wis. (WKOW) — Gov. Tony Evers signed " Bradyn’s Law ," Assembly Bill 201, now 2025 Wisconsin Act 48, on Monday to address sexual extortion in Wisconsin.
The law honors Bradyn Bohn, a D.C. Everest Junior High School student who died by suicide after a sextortion scheme. The signing ceremony took place in Weston, surrounded by Bradyn's family, friends, and community members.
"As a parent and grandparent, I cannot imagine what Bradyn’s parents, family, and friends have gone through in the wake of his death," Evers said in a statement. "We will be able to hold bad actors responsible for reprehensible behavior, especially when they prey on our kids."
