The Somerset Christian Cougars capped off a successful weekend on Saturday by claiming their second-straight KCAC State Championship. They first took down Portland Christian 82-48, then Trinity (Whitesville) 63-47 to advance to the state title game. They then squared off against the Christian Fellowship Eagles in the title game and were able to win by a final score of 76-70 in overtime.
Somerset Christian improves to 3-1 and will next travel to Garrard County on Tuesday.
