The Edinburgh-born Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson has apologised after a bizarre explicit rant towards a fan at a music festival in Australia.
The singer received furious backlash online after unleashing an x-rated tirade towards a man who threw a beachball at Melbourne’s Good Things Festival on December 5.
Manson, 59, singled out the man, calling him a "small man" and "a f****** douchebag" while on stage in Melbourne.
The shocking rant was captured on footage and shared to social media, reports the Daily Record .
Manson went on to address her remarks during a follow-up show in Brisbane.
She told the crowd she had become the "antichrist" and said: "If a beach ball brings you joy, for that I apologise. If I upset you about your blessed beach balls, I humbly apologise."
