MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WV News) — Patients staying at WVU Medicine Golisano Children's Hospital got a special visit from Santa Claus on Monday afternoon thanks to some assistance from the Morgantown Fire Department.

Patients were able to watch from their windows as Santa was raised 100 feet into the air by one of the department's ladder trucks. After waving to the children from the truck, Santa joined members of the fire department inside the hospital as they met with the patients to spread some holiday cheer.
