VALDOSTA, Ga. (WCTV) - A Valdosta staple is closing its doors after nearly 20 years in business.

Mulligan’s Sports Pub is expected to close Sunday after operating for 17 years, according to a post shared to social media by the sports bar Monday afternoon. The business did not provide a reason for its closure in its post.

“Since opening our doors in 2008, Mulligan’s has been more than just a sports pub. Its been a home for memories, milestones, laughter, friendships, and countless unforgettable nights,” the sports bar wrote. “It’s truly bittersweet to say goodbye to a place that has become a staple in our community, a name and a building filled with history and moments we’ll cherish forever.”
