GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. —
A road rage incident in Greenville County has escalated to murder charges against Steven James Strickland, who allegedly fired into another man's car, killing him, as the holiday season brings increased stress and distracted driving.
Graham McLellan said, "As there's more people traveling for the holidays, maybe you're traveling in areas you're unfamiliar with, just be as vigilant as you can."
Jeremy Holt from the Greenville County Sheriff's Office added, "Give yourself enough time to get from point A to point B. Also, try not to make any aggressive maneuvers while you're on the road. Make sure you're using your signals."
While local law enforcement notes that true road rage incidents can be rare, Greenville County has seen a slight increase from five cases in
