GIBSONBURG, Ohio – Elly Evarts hasn’t had much of a problem adjusting to the high school level after a sensational two-year stretch on Gibsonburg’s girls basketball team.
But the two-time All-Ohioan isn’t content with settling on what she’s accomplished so far anytime soon.
After a busy offseason in which she worked on her strength, conditioning, and defense, excelled in a highly-competitive AAU circuit, and saw her college recruiting process intensify, Evarts is motivated for even more success in her junior year on the hardwood. The 5-foot-9 guard has been a critical reason why the Golden Bears went 42-9 with two Sandusky Bay Conference River Division titles, a Division VI district runner-up, and a Division IV district title over the past two seasons.
