LSU defensive tackle Ahmad Breaux is planning to enter the transfer portal , he confirmed Tuesday on social media.

Breaux, a Ruston native, joined the Tigers in 2024 as an edge rusher. The former three-star recruit moved to the interior of the defensive line not long after he enrolled, then carved out a role at that spot in both seasons he played at LSU. In 2025, he played roughly 25 snaps per game in a rotational role, according to Pro Football Focus, tallying 2.5 tackles for loss and 0.5 sacks.

Now, Breaux is leaving LSU alongside defensive line coach Kyle Williams. New head coach Lane Kiffin is retaining defensive coordinator Blake Baker and most of his positional coaches, but he is expected to bring in former Syracuse defensive coordinator and associate head coach Elijah Rob
