OZARK, Mo. (KY3) — A popular restaurant in Ozark is still serving customers after a scare overnight.
Around 11:30 last night, an employee at Lambert’s Cafe saw smoke in the building and called 911. The Ozark Fire Protection District says a roof HVAC unit malfunctioned, causing heat to ignite a small fire and smoke to spread from the roof and ceiling.
Firefighters quickly put out the fire with help from the Logan-Rogersville, Nixa and Battlefield Fire Protection Districts.
