SHREVEPORT, La. -- The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is on schedule with the preparation and distribution of 2025 property tax notices.

The Caddo tax roll was approved on Nov. 19, and printing of tax notices began on Nov. 28.

About 60,000 tax notices were mailed from Dec. 1 to Dec. 6, and an additional 40,000 notices were put in the mail today.

The online portal has been available to collect payments since Nov. 29, and as of today, CPSO has already received $3.7 million in property tax payments.

By comparison, the 2024 tax roll was approved on Nov. 20, 2024, but bill printing did not begin until Dec. 12. An amended tax roll received on Dec. 18 resulted in a later-than-normal bill distribution. No such delays have occurred this year.
