PULLMAN, Wash. - "Respectfully, I want to be the 36th Head Football Coach at Washington State University—and I am the right man for the job!" This was former quarterback Luke Falk's opening message on social media, publicly announcing his interest in the post recently vacated by Jimmy Rogers after less than a year at the team's helm.
While Rogers is leaving to head up the football program at Iowa State University, Falk is hoping to make a comeback in Pullman where his career began.
Falk was a walk-on to the Cougs in 2013 and redshirted his first year before playing from 2014 to 2017. He was selected by the Tennessee Titans as a 6th round pick in the 2018 NFL draft. After being waived by the Titans and Miami Dolphins, he played his first regular-season NFL game in a New York Jets uniform
