Liverpool have been dealt a double injury blow ahead of their Champions League showdown against Inter Milan.

The Reds head to the San Siro on the back of conceding a stoppage time equaliser against Leeds at the weekend to draw 3-3 at Elland Road, having led 2-0 early in the second half.

That result, has left the defending Premier League champions down in tenth place in the table, having been held to a 1-1 draw by Sunderland in midweek.

The Merseysiders have really struggled this term, and their problems only grew when star forward Mohamed Salah revealed that he believed the club had “thrown me under a bus” in a bombshell injury following the stalemate in Yorkshire.

As such, Arne Slot will be hoping that he can get a response from his players, and quickly, with the ever-important fest
