Ten Tables, an intimate Boston bistro that has been at the forefront of farm-to-table cuisine for a quarter of a century, is closing.

The longtime Jamaica Plain eatery will shut down following its last day of service on New Year’s Eve, which is Wednesday, Dec. 31.

“I’m closing this chapter with immense gratitude — for every guest who squeezed into one of our tiny table tops, every farmer who showed up at the back door, and every member of our team who poured their heart into this restaurant," Owner Krista Kranyak wrote in a Facebook post on Sunday, Dec. 7.
