KEARNEY COUNTY, Neb. (KSNB) - The Kearney County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly two-vehicle crash Monday morning.
It happened about 7:30 a.m. near Highway 10 and Fort Kearney Road.
KCSO said deputies arrived to find a white Ford F-250 pickup and a tan GMC SUV with extensive damage.
Investigators said the GMC SUV was traveling northbound on Highway 10, and the Ford F-250 was traveling eastbound on the 50-A Link when the vehicles collided at the intersection.
The driver of the GMC was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the Ford pickup, both from out of state, were using seat belts and sustained nonlife-threatening injuries.
They were taken to a hospital for treatment.
