CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Tenn. — A student at Stone Elementary School is set to be charged with making a threat of mass violence after classmates reported the child making threats to a teacher on Monday, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.

The District Threat Response Team, consisting of school officials, members of the Crossville Police Department, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office and the Office of Homeland Security, responded to assist in the investigation.

The School Threat Assessment Team contained the situation and no weapons were found, and CCSO said no students were in any danger.
