GRAND FORKS — Kendall Baker, former president of the University of North Dakota from 1992 to 1999, died on Thursday, Nov. 27, in Windsor, Colorado.
Baker served at UND through the Flood of 1997 and worked with the city of Grand Forks and other partners to coordinate evacuations, emergency housing and relocation of the Emergency Operations Center, a news release from the university said.
