Nonprofit's land purchase done, but funding stalls Bremerton shelter plan

The Bremerton Housing Authority purchased a roughly 5-acre property along Sheridan Road on the city's east side last month, where it hopes to erect Bremerton’s first dedicated emergency homeless shelter. But progress on that vision has stalled as the agency waits for direction from city leaders.
