A former beauty pageant queen has been sentenced to life in prison after she killed her boyfriend's 18-month-old son, breaking down in court as the verdicts were read out.
Prosecutors have stated the pageant queen murdered the infant out of jealousy as she wanted her own child with her boyfriend. Trinity Poague, 19, was found guilty of two counts of felony murder at South Western Circuit Court in Georgia on December 5 after she beat the 18-month-old child unconscious in 2024 – resulting in the child's death.
