ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - A former Bureau of Prisons (BOP) corrections officer assigned to FCC Oakdale was sentenced on a guilty plea of two counts of “Abusive Sexual Contact” following a federal indictment.
On December 5, 2024, Gregory Fournet was issued a federal indictment in the Western District of Louisiana, alleging through June 6 to June 17, 2024, Fournet intentionally engaged in sexual contact with a victim.
Fournet was booked by the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office the same day of the indictment’s issuance.
According to courthouse records, Fournet accepted a guilty plea in exchange for one of two counts being dismissed.
