CLEVELAND — Natalie McDaniel, the wife of former Cleveland Heights Mayor Kahlil Seren, reached a plea agreement with prosecutors on Monday that lowered her criminal trespassing felony charge to a fourth-degree misdemeanor.
Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court Judge Jeffrey Saffold sentenced the 47-year-old McDaniel to two years of probation and no contact with the victims. She is also required to see a mental health professional in the next month.
McDaniel has been the subject of multiple controversies over the last year, but she was charged for allegedly walking uninvited into a home displaying a "Recall Seren" sign in their front yard. The ordeal came in the middle of what turned out to be a successful campaign to remove her husband from office.
