CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A Cleveland family living without heat is hoping for a fix, but management is pushing for a patch.
“Put yourself in my shoes, and say, ‘Hey, would I be ok getting the run around with something as basic as heat?’” said Keisha Woods.
Woods has been without heat in her home off West 25th Street since moving in over the summer, and she said nearly a dozen contractors agree her boiler needs to be replaced.
Woods said multiple contractors told her the boiler shows signs of serious problems, including black residue around the outside that could indicate carbon monoxide leaks or flames escaping the unit.
