Police arrested a 25-year-old Manchester man working as a licensed nursing assistant at Elliot Hospital after a juvenile victim reported that he groped her and took pictures as she was recovering from surgery, according to a police affidavit.

Alexander Colbath was charged with aggravated felonious sexual assault on a person under the age of 13 after a police investigation that lasted several days, according to the affidavit filed by Detective Haley Metz.

Officers and detectives were called to Elliot Hospital on Nov. 29 to investigate allegations of Colbath fondling the 8-year-old girl, who was admitted to the hospital after complications from surgery a week earlier.
