WASHINGTON, D.C. – The developer of an iPhone app designed to flag sightings of U.S. immigration agents has filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration, alleging violations of free speech.
The lawsuit claims that U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi used her authority to pressure Apple into removing the app, known as ICE Block, from its App Store. This action reportedly took place in October after Bondi argued the app endangered ICE enforcement officers.
The app's removal has sparked debate over free speech rights and the influence of government power on tech companies.
