The Angel Tree program in Hamblen County is in full swing, with the deadline fast approaching.

The program is a big part of the Citizen Tribune Holiday Hope Fund and offers members of the community an opportunity to fulfill an HHF child’s wish on Christmas. The busiest Angel trees are located at the two Walmart stores (East and West) and according to Central Services Executive Director Ashley Hux, they have done really well so far.

“Thank you to everyone who has contributed and brought their toys back,” Hux said. “If you have adopted a HHF child, have pulled a card and you still have it, definitely turn those back in.
