Students in Montgomery Public Schools will soon have access to more books, thanks to a partnership with the Equal Justice Initiative.

EJI and Montgomery Public Schools have announced a partnership to help strengthen reading skills and to expand access to high-quality books.

The announcement was made this morning at Highland Gardens Elementary School.

EJI Founder Bryan Stevenson said that they have identified 133 books written by esteemed authors that are tailored specifically for first and second graders.
