Niagara Parks is hosting a virtual information session Tuesday to let the public know how it intends to make its properties more accessible.

The interactive presentation starts at 4:30 p.m.

The event will provide an overview of Niagara Parks’ multi-year accessibility plan and gather input to guide future accessibility and strategy planning

The agency said feedback will be instrumental in guiding Niagara Parks as it continues to develop a public accessibility plan that respects the dignity and independence of persons with disabilities.

Recent initiatives include adaptive golf clinics at Legends, the new Niagara Takes Flight attraction, accessible washroom facilities outside Niagara Parks Power Station and at Queenston Heights Park, and continued paving of paths and recreational trails.
