AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) -The intersection at Arthur Street and Southeast 10th Avenue will be closed Thursday for paving operations as part of a larger Americans with Disabilities Act improvement project in downtown Amarillo.
The closure will start on Thursday and be completed by the end of the day Friday, according to TxDOT’s Know Before You Go report.
“The city of Amarillo and the surrounding area, and all across the district, keep growing day by day, and we want to make sure these roads are as safe as possible, not only for drivers but for pedestrians and all other forms of transportation as well. And that’s the main focus of this project, this is an ADA improvement project,” said Jason Britsch, public information officer for TxDOT Amarillo District.
