INDIANAPOLIS (WNDU) - The Indiana Senate’s Elections Committee has advanced a bill to redraw Indiana’s congressional districts .

According to our sister station WTHR , the committee passed the bill with a 6-3 vote on Monday night after hours of testimony.

The bill now heads to the Senate floor, where a final vote will be held later this week.

Despite the Republican majority in the state Senate, the bill’s future remains uncertain. President Pro Tem Rod Bray (R-Martinsville) has repeatedly said there are not enough votes to pass redistricting.
