It’s rare to see a politician set ego aside for the greater good, but that’s what appears to be happening in Dallas, Texas as former Rep. Colin Allred (D-TX) exits the U.S. Senate race and enters a bid for Texas’s new 33rd Congressional District. Allred tells MS NOW national reporter Rosa Flores, in an exclusive interview, why he dropped out of the race on the same day Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett is scheduled to make a big announcement about the office she will seek in 2026. He also explains why he thinks he can win in a district that was just gerrymandered by the GOP.
