CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – A proposal to build a 12-story mixed-use development on Patten Parkway has been deferred until the January Planning Commission meeting.
Commissioners said additional review is needed after community concerns were raised at today’s hearing.
The project, submitted by Evelyn Capital, would replace several 1880s-era brick buildings and include 266 residential units, including 79 studios, 76 one-bedroom, and 111 two-bedroom units, along with ground-floor commercial space behind the historic Tomorrow Building, formerly the Ross Hotel.
Several community members spoke in opposition.
