KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – A tractor-trailer rollover crash on Monday night closed all lanes of Interstate 79 South, just south of the Elkview entrance, the West Virginia Division of Highways reported.
The crash appeared to be weather-related, according to the Pinch Volunteer Fire Department.
While no injuries were reported, nearly 60 gallons diesel fuel spilled into the median, the West Virginia Division of Highways said.
The crash was reported around 8:30 p.m. near mile-marker 9.4.
Among first responders at the scene were the Pinch Volunteer Fire Department and West Virginia State Police.
Investigators said roadwork already had the road down to one lane before the crash.
