DANVILLE — A Chicago man was arrested Monday and charged with first-degree murder in conjunction with the Nov. 29 shooting at Scooter Bar in Danville.

According to release from the Danville Police Department, officers with the Danville Police Department’s Problem Oriented Policing (P.O.P.) Unit observed a 30-year-old male they recognized as Jontell J. Robinson or Chicago. Officers were aware Robinson was wanted on an outstanding warrant for first-degree murder and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon in connection with the shooting death of 30-year-oild Tevin J. Patton of Joplin, Mo. Robinson was also wanted on a separate outstanding parole warrant through the Illinois Department of Corrections.
