LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

A woman is dead following a crash near Pleasure Ridge Park.

It happened around 6 p.m. Monday in the 8000 block of Cane Run Road.

Police said a woman who was riding what is described as a "motor type bike," was wearing dark-colored clothing and didn't have proper lighting on the bike.

A man in a pickup truck hit her from behind.

That driver stopped, and no charges are expected to be filed.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where she later died.

Her identity has not yet been released.
