NEW YORK - Actor Eric Dane will publish a book in 2026 that will tell his life story - good days, hard days and what it’s been like living after an ALS diagnosis.
The book is called “Book of Days: A Memoir in Moments.” It will come out from The Open Field, which is led by Maria Shriver, a journalist and author.
In the memoir, Dane will write about big moments in his life - like his first job on “Grey’s Anatomy,” welcoming his daughters, and the moment he learned he had ALS .
Dane, 53, said, “I wake up every morning, and I’m immediately reminded that this is real — this illness, this challenge,” and that’s why this memoir is one way he’s sharing his story.
