On Monday at 8:38 p.m. a flood warning was released by the National Weather Service valid from Tuesday 6 a.m. until Wednesday 4 a.m. for Lincoln County.

The weather service states, "Minor flooding is forecast for Siletz River at Siletz."

"Above 18.0 feet, expect minor flooding of a small housing development near mile post 8 down stream from Mack Landing. Widespread lowland and pasture land flooding also occurs at this level. Flooding may be exacerbated during high tide," adds the weather service. "Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
