Roses have been blooming, mushrooms sprouting and there's no snow in sight in Moscow as Russia continues to experience unusually warm weather.

Visitors to St. Panteleimon Church in Dmitrov, 65 kilometers (40 miles) north of Moscow, have enjoyed spring like conditions with temperatures around 2 degrees Celsius (36 degrees Fahrenheit) in the area of late.

Footage showed the weather had been warm enough to see roses blooming in the garden.

In the Serpukhov district in the Moscow region abnormally warm conditions have made mushrooms hunters return to forests where fungi are popping up in the ground.

"The temperature that is now being observed in Moscow, in the center of European Russia, is normal for that of the first ten days of November, not December," Roman Vilfand, head of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia told Russian State TV.

Officials said the warm spell will continue until the weekend, when temperatures are expected to drop below zero.
