Drivers are facing long tailbacks after a crash on the M2 this morning.

The motorway is partially blocked on the London-bound carriageway between Junction 6 (Faversham) and Junction 5 (Sittingbourne).

Traffic monitoring website, Inrix, says drivers are facing queues of up to three miles following the accident.

It is not yet known if anyone has been injured.

Emergency services have been contacted for more information.
