A young couple who died in a horror crash in Aberdeenshire have been named as Jay Morrison and Bethany Wilson. ‌

Emergency services raced to the two-vehicle collision on the A952 between Toll of Birness and Mintlaw at Clola at 7.25pm on Saturday, December 6. Crews were paged to the collision involving a grey Land Rover Evoque and a black Vauxhall Corsa. ‌

Paramedics attended but tragically, Jay, the passenger in the Corsa was pronounced dead at the scene . Bethany, the driver of the Corsa, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where she was later pronounced dead. ‌

Both Jay and Bethany were 24-years-old. The occupants of the Evoque, a man, 62, and a woman, 61, were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment, where their current conditions are
