Morrisons has axed a popular Christmas meal across its cafes after 20 years. The supermarket had offered a hot Christmas lunch with all the trimmings for years, with customers raving over the flavour of the great value dish.
The supermarket cafe served up turkey, a Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, pigs in blankets, roasted vegetables and even a pot of gravy for just £8.50. Diners had also been able to buy the dinner with a Christmas pudding in a meal deal for £10. One happy customer wrote last year: "First Christmas lunch of season at Morrisons cafe. £8.50 for a delicious lunch with all trimmings. Amazing value."
