With the holiday season officially here, it might be time to pull out some movies from your physical collection or search for on a streaming service.

This short list includes family favorites and some that only adults should watch due to their rating.

'Babes in Toyland'

While Walt Disney Co. did a version of this story in 1961 and there was a version with Shirley Temple, this suggestion is the 1986 TV movie starring Drew Barrymore, Keanu Reeves, Pat Morita (of Karate Kid fame) and Richard Mulligan (known for the TV comedy "Empty Nest").
