LOS ANGELES, California — ABC has signed Jimmy Kimmel to a one-year contract extension, keeping the late-night host on the air until at least 2027 despite President Donald Trump’s calls for him to be fired
“I am pleased to announce another no-talent year!” Kimmel said in a post on social media , confirming his contract extension.
Kimmel, 58, has hosted “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” since 2003, according to ABC News . The new contract goes through May 2027.
He has been a consistent critic of Trump, who has responded on social media with insults and calls for Kimmel to be taken off the air.
After calling for Kimmel’s firing in a social media post in November, Kimmel responded during his show’s monologue.
