DRIPPING SPRINGS, Texas — The Dripping Springs Community Library is taking its mission on the road. The library, which has served the area since 1999, is raising funds to launch a “Library on Wheels” that would deliver books, technology and educational programs directly to neighborhoods across western Hays County.
With more than 14,000 active cardholders in a community of about 57,000 residents, library leaders say their current space can no longer meet growing demand. The proposed mobile library would help close that gap, making it easier for residents of all ages to access resources without traveling to the main location on Sportsplex Drive.
