A raging fire engulfed a North Carolina home after a candle was left "unattended" at the property.
On Saturday, Dec. 6, the Charlotte Fire Department (CFD) responded to a “heavy fire throughout the structure” of a home on Sylvania Ave in the city, the CFD said in a news release posted on Instagram.
The fire started at around 3 a.m. local time Saturday, Local 12 News reported. The CFD said that the fire “began with an unattended candle” at the property.
