The jackpots of Canada’s two biggest national lotteries are now well over $100 million combined, and draws are happening midweek.
Lotto Max $75-million jackpot
The Tuesday, Dec. 9 Lotto Max draw has an estimated $75-million jackpot and an estimated 12 MaxMillions prizes up for grabs, according to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. MaxMillions are prizes of $1 million.
Lotto Max draws happen Tuesday and Friday evenings and tickets cost $5.
The Lotto Max jackpot maxes out at $80 million
Lotto 6-49 Gold Ball $40-million jackpot
Lotto 6-49 has a Gold Ball jackpot of $40 million in the Wednesday, Dec. 10 draw. If a white ball is drawn, someone will win $1 million.
The game also offers the Classic draw, which has a fixed top prize of $5 million.
