FARGO — There’s a winter wonderland in what used to be The Boiler Room. The downtown Fargo basement bar has reopened for the holidays as Marge’s Reindeer Room.

Garlands and streamers hang across the space with lights dancing and dazzling all around the room. Wrapped presents are suspended from the ceiling and illuminated blowmolds sit atop booths while Christmas music plays.

The holiday-themed bar opened on Black Friday and the space runs from 2 to 10 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays through December.

Owner Dan Hurder kept plans a secret and announced the development on the down low with a single social media post at 9 p.m., Thanksgiving night.
