Closings | Interactive Radar | Weather Alerts | Skycams
After today's warm cloudy day with highs in the 30s and 40s, we will be very gusty overnight. As a low pressure core dips south over Iowa, we will generate very strong winds. This same system will lead to some showers over the state for today and even some light snow overnight, but the winds will pick up around 10 p.m. and for the rest of the night. Winter storm watch and wind advisories will go into effect overnight night tonight through Wednesday morning. The strongest gusts during this timeframe will range from 50 to 60 mph which has the potential to break the snow crust
